Terms and Conditions


  • All charter payments are non-refundable
  • Extension of charter due to extra booking hours subjects to additional charter fees
  • Cruise route subject to weather conditions and depth of the water which is decided by the captain

Adverse Weather Conditions

In the event of a forecast for bad weather conditions prior to departure, we reserve the right to reschedule to an alternative date. Refunds will not be made for bad weather as this is outside our control.

If rough weather should occur during the charter, the Captain will make the decision on whether there is a necessity to alter the planned route, or to return to the marina for safety reasons.

Lost Property

If you discover that you have left any personal items on the yacht, please give us a call immediately, and we will contact the crew to inform them. We do our utmost to return lost property however our yachts are sometimes chartered twice in one day and we cannot therefore be held responsible for any items left onboard once your charter has ended. We highly recommend that you collect your lost property within 24hours.


A security deposit of 30% of the total premium is required. A security deposit is required for all charters against the possibility of damage to the yacht, loss of equipment, locked by authorities for any reason and against any extra services provided by the yacht. The CHARTERER may be liable for a sum greater than the security deposit which will be charged additionally to the 30%.

The captain will not allow any guests onboard if this payment is not received prior to the commencement of the charter. Security deposit will be immediately refunded pending post-event yacht walk-through (Within 14 working Days).

The Refundable Security Deposit shall be held by Walidia Yacht Tourism and may be used in, or towards, discharging any liability that the CHARTERER may incur under any of the provisions of this Agreement, but to the extent that it is not so used, the Refundable Security Deposit shall, within 14 working days of the end of the Charter period, after the settlement of all outstanding amounts, whichever is the later, be refunded to the CHARTERER without interest.

In relation to third parties, Walidia Yacht Tourism accepts no liability for loss, damage or injury to any person or their property, howsoever caused. With all arrangements involving a third party, Walidia Yacht Tourism acts only as the agent of the Client and so no liability whatsoever shall be attached to Walidia Yacht Tourism in connection with, or arising from, arrangements between the Client and of the third party. Charterer responsible for yacht daily rental and berthing fees if the yacht is locked at the marina for any reason caused by the client or his party.

Food and Beverage

You are permitted to bring your own Food and Beverage however it is the responsibility of the Captain to ensure that guests do not compromise the safety of themselves or the yacht due to excessive alcohol consumption.

In addition to the above, the marinas in Abu Dhabi have strict regulations regarding disembarking charter clients and will not tolerate loud or unruly behavior on their premises. Please ensure that all your guests are familiar with the standards of behavior expected onboard the yacht and in the marina.

Liability Indemnity

No liability is accepted for any health & illness history and personal injuries during any event including recreational activities, swimming, fishing, parasailing or any other watersports.

Charterer FURTHER AGREES to indemnify and hold harmless Walidia Yacht Tourism from, and against any and all claims for loss or damage to property or injury, to persons (including death) resulting, thru the use, Operation of possession of said rental craft, including loss by fire, water, theft or any other cause whatsoever.


Please ensure that you and your guests arrive for your charter 30 minutes before the start time to avoid any unnecessary delays leaving the marina. We cannot add additional time to your charter if you are late as there may be another charter booked after yours has finished, (Extra fees may apply).

Event set up/ Take Down

Please bear in mind that the charter price includes access to the yacht one hour before the event and one hour after the event for set up/ take down (In case of large setups by the client). If more time is needed, then you will be charged for the additional hours as the crew need to be on duty whilst suppliers are on board the yacht.

SMOKING and Shoes Policy

Smoking is permitted in a designated area on the pontoon. Smoking is not permitted anywhere onboard, inside or outside the yacht.

No shoes are allowed inside/ outside the yacht, security and yacht crew will be responsible to inform the guests

Captain’s Authority

The Captain shall comply with all reasonable requests of the CHARTERER. The Captain shall not, however, be bound to comply with any request which, in the reasonable opinion of the Captain, might result in compromising the safety and security of the Yacht or her crew and passengers. Captain to inspect vessel with the client before and after the charter. Yacht captain has authority to remove any unruly guest.


Any notice given or required to be given by either Party to this Agreement shall be communicated in any form of writing and shall be deemed to have been properly given if proved to have been dispatched pre-paid and properly addressed by mail or bona fide courier service or by fax or email.


Any dispute in connection with the interpretation and fulfillment of this Agreement shall be decided by arbitration in the United Arab Emirates. Each Party shall appoint their own arbitrator and, if necessary, the two arbitrators shall appoint a third arbitrator whose decision will be final and binding. This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates under the jurisdiction of the Abu Dhabi Courts and all parties agree that any action taken by either party will heard and arbitrated by the Abu Dhabi Courts.
